If you get brave you could try up arrows on the MC later in the game.
I have a feeling the game engine may be kind.

Accyrover, please advice me how to go against 4-3-2-1 as I described it on the former page.
(already sent you a PM, but maybe you didn't saw it Pardon me for asking again.
How are his three MF players set narrow or wide?.
Do you have two DMC's and two AMC's?
Oh! never mind, read this, if not suitable come back on.
From: 'How to beat any formation' topic.
4-3-2-1
--------ST---------
AML---------AMR
---MC-MC-MC----
--DL-DC-DC-DR--
An excellent attacking formation and strong in wing attack..
Can be countered by:
3-2-3-2:
-------ST---ST-----
----MC-MC-MC---
DML---------DMR
----DC-DC-DC----
A logical choice formation to use against the 4-3-2-1.. 3 DC to block 1 lone striker, a DML and DMR to block attacks from the flanks coming from the AML and AMR, 3 midfield to keep control and 2 strikers to go for goal.
Mentality: Attacking
Focus Passing: Mixed
Tackling: Normal
Pressing: Whole pitch
Passing style: Mixed
Counter-Attack: No
Offside Trap: Yes
If these instructions don't work then tweak them more mildly.
3-2-2-2-1:
ST
AML-AMR
MC-MC
DML-DMR
DMC-DMC-DMC
Fight fire with fire, 3 DC again to block a lone striker.. DML and DMR to block the AML's and AMR's which can feed passes up your own AMLs and AMRs to take advantage of the lack of wing defence and one lone striker to go between the 2DC..

How do I beat this formation?
DL DC DR
MC MC MC
AML AMC AMR

Thanks for this, I already checked this tread, but I thought I need something better than 3-2-3-2 to get a win against stronger opponent. I was thinking for some tweaking that can stop his powerful attacking wings even leaving his mediocre St open. I will take a shot and will report back couple of hours later.
how play against 4-1-3-2 (dl-dc-dc-dr-mc-aml-amc-amr-st-st)

how i play against (dl-dc-dc-dr-mc-aml-amc-amr-st-st) thanks
Kyankov ....To late I see you have decided on your original.
I'd have gone with the V formation, although it leaves one AM player free, your four at the back should cope, it is also your most balanced formation and offers something in attack with your own AM players supporting the striker and feeding ballsl to him, the AM players will keep his DL/DR busy while the striker goes through the centre of the two other DC's.
DR----DC--DC----DL
---------DC/DCM
------MC-------MC
AMR/MR-----------AML
------------ST
Play everyone flat to start give it 15 minutes if possession looks OK put up arrows on your AM players.
Normal, Both flanks, Own half, Short, Normal, Zonal, No O/S No force counter.
Second half you are holding your own but not to many chances try forcing counter and switch passing to mixed with up arrow on the striker, then long passing if still goals.
If you are happy with a draw stick to the first set of orders without the arrows.
