anyway i always go through all your tips on page 1 before posting...
im up against

his squad quality is abt 15 and mine is 23, which formation should i use?

personally i think 4-5-1 v is good against this, since its 1st leg of champions league im thinking:
attacking mentality, mix passsing, own half, down both flanks, no offside, no counter. is this good? and flat formation with no arrows right?

you can use 4 5 1 V with attacking mentality .. mixed passing .. down both flanks ... offside trap (because he has no AMR/L/C) .. no counter attack ... whole pitch so as to take the advantage from the beginning ... and you can put red arrows on AMR/L ...

ant after the game tell us what you did I hope you win .

well everyone has his own tactic and another one thing is build tactic based on ur opponent tactic (counter it)

but for me,tactic that work for most of enemy is 4-2-3-1



order,
mental attacking (home), normal (away)

fokus pass through the middle, if enemy use wings
if them use 3 MC or 3 DC, play down both flanks

pushing, own half

tackle normal

passing short

marking area

counter attack (home)
offised trap

As you say, there is more than one way to skin a rabbit.
MY CL final was against the wide diamond last season, which I won 4-0 with:



IMO no need for four defenders against 2 ST and 1 AMC with so many players in your own half.
Turn the advantage around by employing your own AMC to support the ST better on the counter. Possession was 68/32 in my favour, he had only 4 hots on target with 1 needing to be saved.

What is your thinking with the down arrow on your GK?.

Won 2-1 with the butterfly, attacking against 4-3-3 expected better at home even went 3-1-2-2-2 as he had a ST sent off with 15min to go, four shots on goal in the last 6min but nothing given.
Confident I can score away so maybe it will be enough. I'll bring out the big guns for that one.
Gotta love the game engine when it's trying to make a game of it.
