Been there, seen that (had a lvl 14 team 2 years ago). I can admit some mistakes like wasted tokens on average players this season so I'll take even a negative result without disappointment.

I lost 1-3! BUT it was an away match and we played some nice football so I still have hope to bounce back in the 2nd leg!

I substituted my AMC for DC and we conceded a 90' minute goal... Shouldn't have done that!

Not bad, but i think u lost cause he had superior players, doesn't matter which tactic, his player still superior see, u even have more shots on target, so i think no matter what u choose, if player are able to score with a few shots more than u, its just a quality thing, so statistics say u done better but the quality is different, maybe next match he gets a red card haha
And down both flanks??? Where are ur flank player then??
U didnt have any attacking player on the flanks...
So ur passes ended up in the middle of nowhere...

Changed to both flanks in the 2nd half, put red arrows on DL/R and as you can see I scored in a counterattack!

The real questions it do I keep the same formation with a better AMC or change it to my magical pyramid 4-3W-2AMC-1?

Well if ur defender red and that's all u have on the flanks, it can't work. I think down both flanks is not meant to play with nothing but wing defender, put ml mr o some aml amr for it, if u go 3w midfield and amc its way better

Yes it could do good, i think u have a stronger attack n u can use the flanks. If u need later on u can change during the game n play with 3 defender, in case u run out of time. U had good number of shots on target, if u can get a few more in u might have a chance. Its ok to go offensive anyway as u have no other option. If he scores what is possible then try to get 3 goles done as well :)
