Another major downfall is you'll need to watch every match due to having only 4 players on the opponent's half. If any one of those 4 take a red card you will have an illegal formation.

Its the same with people having only 1 player on each flank. Also the way illegal formations have been changed recently who knows what will happen. I dont know if they are changing the rules or they just have a bug in their system, but its getting ridiculous

Point taken, but there's still a lower percentage chance that one of two players will be sent off VS one of four players being sent off. For me it's pretty darn rare that a player gets straight up sent off during a match, but when you are talking about any one of four, I'd rather not chance the RNG.
