To counter 4-4-2: GK--DL-DC-DC-DR--AML-MC-MC-AMR--ST-ST try using 4-2-2-2 hexagon through the middle, and as for use the same formation but depends on your counter-part and your players quality. Hope it helps mate, let us know the results!
