j´ will try 4-4-1-1 first leg and 4-2-2-2 at the second leg
Not a problem mate, from what I'm getting your counter-part is try to utilize the flanks. Possibly you can try 4-5-1 with and push through the middle. Good luck!
This season I´m using 4-4-2 and I`have only one loose. Was against 4-4-1-1. So I' will try it against this time

you can counter it with 4-4-2 as well,4-4-1-1,4-1-2-1-2 and a lot others...good luck with the game...

He used 4-3w-1-2... change is formation every game. He was present and 2 friends. I' wasn't present. My formation 4-4-1-1. Result:2-2

Did you already placed the formation before hand? and I hope it wasn't any knockout stage but fair enough results as you were not present during the game.
Today I faced 4-4-1-1 against my 4-4-2 CL Semi away out come on top 3-2 figures crossed for the next leg.

probably 4-5-1v is the better formation to beat any team...
