How to beat 4-4-2

I have stopped using 4-5-1V against 4-4-2 earlier this season, it didnt seem to work.
I would recommend 4-4-1-1.

Im gonna play a CL final against a 4-4-2 team
Whole season i have played with a 4-1-4-1 defensive tactic.
Should i switch tactic against him or should i rather try get him to adapt to me.

Me too. But this game (Cl semi-final 2nd leg)I' used 4-5-1V again and won 1-0.
I' have also a 2nd team and I used all the league matchs 4-5-1V and I' have at the moment 22 wins,1 draw, 0 lost
