As a rule of thumb, for FLAT formations I like to use

Passing Mixed
Passing Style Mixed

Unless I have one outstanding winger then I pass thru him.

The other orders are up to your preference.

Secondly, playing 2 DMCs, I'd go for a wide back 3 with blue arrows on the DMC. Then given the thin attacking options, I'd use Normal mentality. should work some times but not all the time.
