3n-1-2-1-3 narrow diamond
My opponent for tomorrow's champions league match is currently showing a 3n-1-2n-1-3! I'm not quite sure what to play against it. I'm debating between a 3n-1-4-2 and 4-1-4-1. I don't really like using less than 2 strikers or 3 defenders against 3 strikers so i'm not sure what to do. Is 4-4-2 classic a good idea (I usually hesistant to run that against middle diamond, but this guy has no flank defense? Anybody have any advice? Or has seen this formally illegal formation before?
Situation is this: I picked up a 1:0 home win in the first leg! I won't be able to watch the match. I have two strikers that perform very well, defense consists of a bunch of players at the 5/6 star borderline that normally get a 7 or 8 rating.
Thanks in advance, for any advice!

Try with 4-5-1V or 4-1-3N-2

I ended up playing 4-5-1V. Opponent changed formation to 3n-1-3n-1-2! I ended up with a 6:3 victory...
