Question Is there a glitch in the matrix...?

    Hi all!

Im kind of noob here anyway..so i was watching a cup match between 2 identical team (25Q 27Q).

What draw my attention was the 1st leg result. A clear 0-9. So i backed the away team now (kind like the underdog, which was not the case, cause the massacre victim was 2 Q point over and still manage to loose at home 0-9..strange.. ate the very least).

ok, so now to the formations: the dominant teAm FC Strange (real name) started like this:

    DR - DC - DL
    MC-MC-MC
    AMC-AMC - AML
    ST

The victim (again) had this formation (no striker)

    DC-DC-DC
    MC-MC-MC-ML
    AMC-AMC-AML

Again the result was...9-0! with 80% ball possesion..

Anyway i had to try it for my self.
Cup match. 1st leg i had loast 2-0 away. (See attachment)
    He played a 4-5-1 classic
    I had 66% possesion and won..........3-0

I had no idea abt the orders so i tried the following:

    DL-DR Red arrows
    DC no change
    MC's no change
    AMC's Red arrows
    AML blue arrow
    ST red arrow

    Hard attack
    mix pass
    whole pitch
    normal
    short
    zonal
    counters on
    offside on

Only sub: the AML for an AMR and played like before.

So, my question is: Has anybody seen something like this before..?
Is it because the sodomized ( ) team had no ST ??
But 80% its still too much i think...

    May there's a glitch

    Rgds,

Welcome to the forums and this game.

What you saw was an abandoned team. Abandoned teams, even if qualities are close when playing a non-abandoned team frequently get beat by a lot. Abandoned teams will have players playing out of position, which creates a possession penalty and if its the goalie that's OOP, I believe it creates a 20% possession penalty.

Him having no ST, although being rather foolish, doesn't create any possession penalty.
