3N-4-1-2 for the 4-4-2 Classic. EDIT: no AMC - damnit... 3N-4-3? 5-3-2?

The 1 MC formation is a weird one, I would be tempted to pack defence and use something like 3N-2(DML/DMR)-3N-2 or 3W-2(DMC)-3W-2, but if OP hasn't got AM or DM players then options are limited.

If OP could post a screenshot of his squad, then we could help further...

Either mirror his formation or invest in players... This season 4-5-1v and ND seems strong against 4-4-2. Not sure about the other formation.
