    Question Countering weird 4-1-3-2 formation

Does anybody know how to counter the formation attached below.

I'm asking this because the opposition has a DMR instead of DMC.

I looked on the sticky post and it says to use 4-5-1 v style or 4-4-2 classic

Does anybody recommend to use any of those 2 tactics mentioned above?

it is best to go with your own gut. If you can avoid passing down that wing, besides passing style check your marking, i recommend zoning them out of your half( zonal +own half pressing)

    Any red/blue arrows?

Also, do I attack, keep it normal or defensive?

4-1-2-1-2 ND, he has no central midfield.

I'm going to risk with the 4-4-2 classic as the sticky guide recommended the 4-4-2 classic or 4-5-1 v style tactics

    I used 4-5-1 v-style tactic and won 3-2

Inside 20 minutes I was winning 2-0 and then before half-time he scored 2 goals to make it 2-2. In the 71 minutes I scored to make it 3-2.

ST, AML, AMR, DMC, DL and DR had red arrow

    2 DC's had blue arrow

    Attacking
    Both flanks
    Mixed passing style
    Counter attacks is on

    Own half - pressing
    Normal tackling
    Zonal marking
    Offside trap is off
