    Cool 4-4-2 Advice needed!!!

I want to use 4-4-2 Formation this year for the very first time.

Please could somebody offer me advice on which players should I use arrows on? and secondally, what team orders should I use?

    Thank you all so much!

I would only use arrows against teams with 3CBs and put red on fullbacks and wingers.
This formation is weak against narrow diamond so swap a striker for a DMC.

The good thing about 4-4-2 is orders can vary. Attack against weak teams, normal against equal and defend against strong teams.

Orders, normal down flanks mixed passes normal/hard tackling zonal low no counter no offisides arrows red flanks blue on both MCs,if play against a stronger defensive and no arrows full backs if against weaker attacking with short passes, that's about I play but sometimes I try something different when it doesn't work also needs good wingers or it doesn't work att all 4-4-2.

Ok, you have a good squad there so try this

    Attacking
    Mixed
    Low
    Normal tackling
    Mixed style
    Zonal
    No counter
    No offside

If you find yourself losing, change to high press, hard tackling, arrows on wingers and fullbacks and play offside late in game.

Avoid 4-1-2-1-2 narrow formations, counter this by 4-5-1v

I am thinking in one thing if nothing works... that u can test... and is a 3-4-1-2 or 3-4-3 in mode:

    -----ST-----ST----
    -------AMC-------
    ----MC-MC-MC-MR

    ----DC-DC-DC----

but is just a test for fun if nothing works, really I have to prove it... coz 4-4-2 is one of the srongest formations xD

you can't run red arrows on your defenders (unless they are scout level or higher) without going high pressing/offside trap. Putting counterattacks on means you are allowing them space to get into your half and then attempting to win the ball and attack quickly. Your orders/tactics are counterintuitive to this and this is why you are losing. Your defenders are getting caught up the pitch and you are losing possession/conceding because of it. The only formation i could see your current orders working against would be 5-4-1/5-3-1-1 and nobody plays it.
