Hi,to be highly productive, 4-5-1 vstyle requires good aml,amr and dmc.
The use of arrows depends :

1) on the mode you set your strategy: defensive/High defensive, normal, offensive/high offensive.
2) on your opponent formation.

Let's take,as example, that you are using a normal strategy,so each player follows his own abilities, preferring what is his best.
In this situation,I normally force:

the 2 dc with blue arrows
aml,amr and st with red arrows
dmc with red arrows if opponent does not have amc ,no arrow otherwise
no arrows for other players.

Consider,anyway,that red arrow over dmc may give him a higher risk to be booked.

When you choose a defensive or offensive strategy, your team will follow that default setting,
so arrows will only have to change this trend for some players.

For example,in a defensive strategy,I'll use only red arrows for offensive players aml,amr and st,
no blue arrows at all for defense,and no arrow for other players.

In an offensive strategy,on the opposite,only blue arrow for 2 dc,and no red arrow for offensive players.
No arrows for the rest of the team.
