How to beat 3w-5-2V

I think, my opponent doesn't know, how he will play against me. Everytime I take a look at his formation, he changed it (and he has no more game today, because he leaguegame was around 11am).

I know, that's the wrong thread, but I wanna tell you the result, because of your help:

Finally he started with a high defenisve formation: 4-2n-1-2w-1
I used: 3w-5-2V
attacking-down both flanks-short-on; low-low-man to man-on
I know, what you think... wtf? counter and offside on? yes, and it worked!!!

At halftime, we were leading 3:0, shots on target: 7:0. After halftime, he made a sub, changed formation to 4-1-1-2w-2. I went back to 4-5-1V, defensive. I missed, to turn off offside, so I conceeded one goal. At this time SoT were 7:3. After turning off offside, there was nothing more. Finally SoT were 10:3.

Have you conceeded the goal indeed in oppo counter. Did he break you offside trap or it was another kind of goal.

I just question that because last month every time I play 4-5-1v def, offside off.. I always conceed a goal and I doupt if I will use it anymore for def formation.

At live game, it looks like, they break the offside trap. After turning off, they didn't make another SoT, so I think, we conceeded the goal, because of the offside trap.
I also was logged in with the account of my wife at old version to see the livestats, and there was something said about offside, but I really can't imagine, what it was. :/
