I'm alway play 3-1-4-2 vs 4-1-3-2. I never been lost this tactic.

with equal / stronger team:
i play defend mentality / through mix / pass mix / whole pitch
AML / R up
centre DC down

with weaker team:
i play normal mentality / through mix / pass mix / own pitch
AML / R up
centre DC down
