4-3N-1-2 counter discussion

Hi everyone!
This season is kind of bad for me. I have faced teams with 4-3N-1-2 formation 2 times so far
The first one was with a weaker team (like 10%). I played 3N-5-2 V with attack, Mixed pass, plank, man to man, off side ON. It was a draw.
The second was with an equal team. I played 4-5-1 V style with defence, long pass, plank, man to man, counter ON. I lost 1-3 at the first half. At the second half, I changed to 3-5-2 V with attack, plank, man to man.... and nothing worked.
In both games. I had better Total shot and Shot on target......

Do you think Vstyle is no longer counter 4-3N-1-2?
And is this how the "luck" work in this game (I won a triple last season)?.
BTW, Im gonna sell all my AM(C-L-R) and ST
