Hey guys. Up against a 4-3-2-1 wide tomorrow. I'm slightly stronger but not sure what tactics or formation to use. Aby suggestions?!

You have a good defensive set up DR-DC-DC-DL - but your centre is exposed with only one MC. Lastly you have double or congested with your 2 AMC which to me is tactically unnecessary.
I will suggest this:
(HOME MATCH)
Mentality -OFFENSIVE
Counter-A - Yes
Passes - SHORT PASSES
OPERATE - from WINGS
Offside - YES
Marking - MAN-MARKING
Play - HARD

(DR⬇)-DC⬇-DC⬆-(DL⬇)
(MR⬇)-MC⬆-MC-(ML⬇)
AMC⬇
(ST⬇) or 2 strikers - No AMC.

The arrow DC⬆ means he works to stop any counter attacks from the midfield as the work of DMC.

The arrow MC⬆ means he works or around the midfield helping the defence and stopping and counter attacks with dirty works.

One MC without arrow means that he work to support attack and also the midfield. The rest you understand I hope.

IMPORTANT NOTE:
If you are playing away please don't play OFFENSIVE - rather Play it NORMAL.

Tried you tactics Ghana but went 2 down pretty fast so switched to my 4-2-2-2 just to keep the score down. Lost 3-1. Not the end of the world, I'm sure I'll play better at home. Thanks for the tips and I might try that next game Nikol!

The key is 3W defender i think. I play against this formation with 3n-1-4-2: 4 - 4 home match. The defend system wasn't good.
And away match i has 1 red card at min 10. So i change 3w-1-2MC(Down)-2w-1 and win 2 - 0
