Normal, Down Both Flanks, Force Counterattacks: On, High Pressing, Normal or Hard Tackling( Depends on score), Zonal or Man-to-Man (Depends on score but I suggest to stay on Zonal), No Offside Trap and one more thing use condition bonus frequently.

You may try, but 4-3-3 is an offensive formation, you may concede early goals by counter attacks. I have never tried 4-3-3 against similar quality teams, but the success of that one I suggested have been confirmed many times against 4-5-1 V, even against stronger teams. Good luck.

    3N-2DMW-2MC-2AMW-1 Butterfly.

Beware of 4-3-3 - 4-5-1V is a possible counter and you will be falling in to his trap.

Any formation or tactics advice given is based purely on experience with my teams...

4-5-1V is not a counter for 433, at least not anymore. 4-1-4-1 is the counter for 433.

GO with Antonio's advice or 433 against 45v

defensive- thru the middle - long- Counter on
    low- hard-MOM/ZOnal- No Offside trap

You can also try 3n-1-4-1-1 - it has worked wonders in past for me as it gives you better hold in midfield with 6 midfielders compared to his 5
