The strikers zones will be marked by the defenders and also offer coverage for the attacking midfielders on the right and left. They will patrol the area and make the necessary tackles. However if you are using man-to-man marking then your above choice would be the correct way, but this causes your players to lose more condition.
AML/AMR will take care of his exposed flanks.
