HE is both in my league and CL group.There were two matches between us,(1 league,1 CL) and i lost them all..!!
though my team is better than his team,and i was present in the match
my players' condition and morale both were full too,but i didn't win..
Can Anyone have any suggestion how can i give him a lesson?? It is very very much necessary for me TO DEFEAT HIM if.Please help friends..please..

Graph both formations over the same grid.
Now look at midfield. Notice anything?
_{He has 4 players vs your two. He kicked your butt in possession time, didn't he?}

Now look at his attackers and your defense.
_{He's essentially one on one with his Strikers and AMC against your DCs and DMC. Your DL and DR may as well not even be on the field. (Note that if he has red arrows on his DL/DR, then they are covering your ML/MR.)}

You probably scored a few goals against him because you have the same 1-on-1 against the middle of his D, but he effectively had a numbers advantage and, because of his midfield presence, he had better possession.

So, how do you:

• Get more bodies on defense than he has on offense
• Get a stronger midfield presence for better possession
• Exploit any weakness he has on defense

just because both sides have 11 players doesn't mean it's an equal match.

i am at level 3 and actually i didn't know that formation is that much important
i have completed Season 1 & 2 being 1st using this formation.So i dont have any mc in my team.because i thought i will win by using this formation.so i didnt sign any mc this season.Moreover i have 2 ml,2mr,2dmc and 3 st and plenty of dc.is there any chance of wining without using mc??or i am bound to buy some mc?

In my experience, the single biggest controllable variable in possession is the number of players touching the white circle (AMC contribute less, if anything to possession). You can certainly win even with a possession disadvantage.

MCs are the one position where i develop all 3 areas instead of 2. Other than GK & ST, it's the only position where I have single role players ( e.g. never just DC, must be DL/DC, DMC/DC or DC/DR). Those are some serious drawbacks, and yet I keep 6-7 MCs on my squad. So, I think they're quite important. Others may disagree. It's up to you to experiment and determine if they help you and your playing style.


Note: I'm not a token buyer. I have not and never will buy tokens. So my strategy is based entirely on obtaining the best results without the advantage of being able to simply overwhelm opponents with higher quality players. Obviously formation and tactics play a big role in this. I don't pay much attention to counterformations per se - I try to gain tactical & numerical advantages on the field and arrange my formations accordingly. Post "part 6.2" of Justdome's guide is the best advice I've ever read about T11
