just had another match against a 4-4-2 system. i played again with 4-5-1 V and the same tactical instructions... 0:5 victory
4-5-1V might fail if the player going 4-4-2 is playing that tact properly and not many do.
i usually go 4-1-4-1 against 4-4-2....with red on wingers and dmc....def/counter/mixed pass/over flanks......so in attacking it will act similar as 4-5-1V.....but in other hand it will play well against properly played 4-4-2 when in defense.
u can use 4-1-2-1-2 narrow diamonds..it can work![]()
I used your formation and tactics Michael against top of my league who plays 442 and keeps winning, players lower rated than mine, last I drew at home to him 2-2, and guess what I WON!. Thanks mate,it was so frustrating me that he kept winning playing that formation.
good job for ya all![]()
