Please kindly post an image with your team squad like the following, so we could know about your best players and what positions they could play, so we could give the best informed suggestion to you:

Usually against opponents playing 4 defenders + 2 DMCs, it is best to avoid any play via the middle at all as the chance of being countered is too high.

For a typical match, a 4-5v-1 could do. The 2 in the middle should be 1 MC close to ML/MR region and another is MC close to the other side’s MR/ML region (MC is there just to satisfy the legal formation requirement of having a MC when without both AMC & DMC). Normal/Defensive, mixed/long, via flanks.

And if you only have 1 good AML/R, then it is best to attack only 1 flank and play another MC to control possession instead. Defensive/Hard defending to draw opponents 2 DMCs forward to be intercepted by your 3 MCs instead. Counter on in that case.

    Thanks!

With the players at your disposal, it seems 4-1-3-AMR-1 is the best option if you want to go for safety first policy.

Gustafson off, with Tenoff on as DC. The rest of DL, DC, DR and DMC is quite default.

Best player Bonokoane should move back to MC to act as middle of 3-man midfield (can up-arrow him), MR selects himself and the other MC on the region close to ML. El Khetabb as AMR and Ayew as ST.

Attack only via right flank. Normal/Defensive. Mixed/Long (change to short immediately if any long pass got intercepted - opponent 2 DMCs are huge concerns of counters).

You have better attackers than defenders, so if you want to go for aggressive or need to chase a goal, then can try 3-5v-2.
In-game, move Asrih up from DL to AML, Kourdakis moves from DC to DL, and move Bonokoane up from MC to ST.
(Opponent plays 4 front players, so you must keep 3 defenders + DMC as a minimum, or else it is highly likely to concede more - if opponent remove any of front-4 to go defensive, then you can sub Tenoff off and get Gustaffson on as AMC to become 3-2M-3W-2).

Conditions is quite low there, so hopefully they would have recovered to close to max before the match. Max bonus and max morale should apply as per all title decider.

    Best of luck there!

    Usually that is the case.

But then from the player list provided, ash93 does not have enough players to play all the 4 defenders, DMC and also AML for a 4-5v-1.

Hence the suggestion for an alternative 4-1-3-AMR-1 instead.

I won the match 1-0 . I played 4-1-3-AMR-1 . turns out one more match left two points clear at the top of the table .
