3-1-4-2 is an attacking variation of 3-4-1-2 as we know. So obviously, we use this formation to defend against teams which attack in the centre, such as 4-4-1-1, 4-3-1-2, or 3-4-2-1. If ur scoring lots, that prolly means ur opponent has a poor wing defence. U can try reducing ur gameplay to a defensive or normal games level in case ur leading early in the game. As for orders, definitely man marking, high defence and passing down both flanks. The rest of the orders depends on ur opponent's formation. Will update on the other 2 formations later
