   ND might work. This really depends if the "weird" formation uses "down both flanks" or not. When I use 4-3W-2-1 I run "down both flanks" and it's enough to over-come any formation that is running...

   I play V-style or 4-1-3N-2 depending on how I feel - and whether my semi-defensive MCs are suspended XD. Starve ND of the ball in midfield and it withers imo. If you don't then your toast.
