I think I agree with you, there is no good way to do traditional relegation in this game..it would to hard to stop manipulation like you example.
I kind of look at not promoting as being relegated,...

Lol 5Q (I assumed you meant 5 stars here) isn't unbeatable, but if you face a cup of many 7-9 star teams every single season as I do with my main account, then it is nearly impossible to win the Cup...

Sorry Marc I disagree with u here. Tanking is the way non token buyers can keep up against the token buyers. I am in cl this season only becoz I tanked 2 seasons back, which allowed me to play 3...

You can individually train players. The bars next to their name you click and select level of training. You should rotate out your squad so you don't play tired guys in matches -- they get hurt...
