Although i tend to buy players that are DML,ML,AML and DMR,MR,AMR. These types of players tend to score more than your strikers ever will.

That would leave me man for man in defence, dont you always normally advise to have at least one extra defender at the back.

I also struggle eveytime i play against 4-4-2.

I lost in the league today 4-1. My team is 100% is team was 94% and i played 3-4-1-2.

Any advice would be gratefully appreciated.

Me personally, i would go

3N - 2 (dml, dmr) - 2 (mc,mc) - 1(amc) - 2(st)

Although with that said 4-1-2-1-2 may work.
