Long distance relationships

I have been a long distance for around 1 year, until we both decide to go to the same University (or college whatever you guys says because college is a different thing in Canada). Now, we are together in the same city, and study together. However, long distance is hard, because you will miss each other, and it will become really annoying in a while. Good luck

Just want to share my experience with the lad...and yes, I write alot because I was forced to go to special literature school at a young age and it stuck because I had to follow all these writting....fml...yah its long.

No offence, but you really do come across as negative most of the time, when you talk about T11 as well.

I've read your post, but I think it depends on the individual. I don't agree with the saying that nice guys finish last or that all girls like bad boys and all that, and guys can be monogamous.

By the way, she's my 3rd so far, and I'm Chinese, but also Christian. She'll go to college slightly later than me, but she will go as well, possibly to the other side of the country which will be very different. So far, she's seemed more attached to me than I am to her, and I think I will be fine in another country because I have friends and relatives there as well. Australian chicks aren't my type anyway. I started this thread to get advice on long distance relationships, actually, not to have everyone tell me that it won't work out, and that we'll cheat on each other. So far, I think Csaszar's link has been most helpful.

Apologies if I've missed out replies to parts of your post, I don't have the experience that you do from special literature school or anything.

I met my current wife in hongkong 6 years ago and I am from singapore. after a long distance courtship of 1 year, we tie the knot and give birth to a beautiful baby boy. Anything is possible if the both of you are committed to each other.

no offences but potemy, given the time that both of you will be apart and the your age. I really doubt it will work. I think you should concentrate on your studies and future rather then wasting your precious maintaining a long distance relationship. You are still young, there are many things waiting for you. Enjoy everything in life while it still last.

Oh wow you're a guy lol. Sorry, the username made me think you were a girl. We'll see each other every now and then, though. We'll be able to find the right balance between studies and our relationship.

to be very frank its near impossible but we cannot just erase it too. All i can say is good luck. My 1 year long term relationship require me to fly up to hongkong about 9 times, and daily long distance call to make it possible.
