He is there for studies, not vacation so he is not staying in a hotel, unless you was never a student yourself. You should jolly well know how tight his schedules should be and also the limited allowances. So he is now setting his priorities right.

Thats true i never got to university but ... i had a lot of friends there and they had time for everything , go out in clubs , get drunk , study , smoke , having the most beautiful life meting girls only for one time ... and so on!

And after all the internet is not limited anymore ... but the time yeah is limited !

Ps. Sorry for the S i eat in HoStel = Hotel i type fast and sometimes i miss or switch some letters
