What is wrong with these games?!!!?

Every time I download a tycoon game, like mall tycoon* or rollercoaster tycoon*, it says "Launch * Free Trial" and I click on it and it doesn't do anything. Is there something wrong with the game or just my cpu?????

p.s. It is already downloaded when it asks me if i want to launch the free trial.
