Sir Alex Ferguson has announced his retirement at the end of season.

Sir Alex Ferguson will retire as Manchester United manager - Official Manchester United Website
Sir Alex Ferguson on retiring as Manchester United manager: "The decision to retire is one that I have thought a great deal about and one that I have not taken lightly. It is the right time. It was important to me to leave an organisation in the strongest possible shape and I believe I have done so. Going forward, I am delighted to take on the roles of both Director and Ambassador for the club.

"To the fans, thank you. The support you have provided over the years has been truly humbling. It has been an honour and an enormous privilege to have had the opportunity to lead your club and I have treasured my time as manager of Manchester United."

For me hes the greatest manager there is. People talk of mourinho and the likes but if you see what sir alex done with teams like st mirren (my team) and aberdeen its undeniable how good he actually is. We were **** before fergie, he came in and withing 2 seasons we were 3rd in the league, in europe and then won the scottish cup (he wasnt there when we won the cup but it was all players hed signed and his asst manager).

We actually sacked him (the old saying goes decca knocked back the beatles, we sacked fergie)

Then he went to aberdeen and won the cup winners cup.

So far, Moyes seems as the only logical choice, Klopp, Mourinho and the FK Molde coach..But apparently Moyes was chosen by SAF
