Is it possible for the first game of the new season to be arranged for the cup winners versus the league winners? Just like in the English game structure.

It could be for sure, like Croft Original suggested. It's like also a Super Cup (it's the portuguese format and I think in all european leagues).

good idea.. id go with league and cup as there the two hardest competitions to win...plus i am English..

But id be happy for C/L and league or C/L and cup what ever was possible...except as with all suggested improvements i wont be holding my breath

I'd like to see a Super Cup implentmented into the game in which we could play on DAY 2 of the season.

I'd take all the League Winners, CL Winners and Cup winners and then at the beginning of the season you will play another "winner" in a Super Cup match, I'd do the draw based on QUALITY like the RR Cup. Then you would get an opponent thats close to your quality and you would get a good match every season your in the Super Cup.
