If we start to drop down older players skill points then eventually some players would end up with no skill points at all. What we have to take into consideration is that there is only so much a programmer can introduce before game becomes to unwieldy to manage - There are so many other football games out there which be honest are so complicated it turns people off. Don`t get me wrong the game could do with some improvements and there have been some excellent suggestions.

Young players are expensive but the older players help newbies with their team. The game suggests that all young players are talented - in the real world that is not the case and not all veteran players are slow, so why do youngsters get more training points for their passing or their positioning when veterans are more well seasoned, Veterans speed may be slower but their ability on the ball is much greater. There is argument for both sides youngster and veterans.
