I think Spanish is the logical choice because the mostly followers of football are in SouthAmerica and Europe.

Now that is apps which is sort of a loophole for the chinese to access facebook but majority of the prefer QQ. Even there is no facebook they should be able to use the play it now function in their iPhone or Android phone. So i guess they are just not interested in the game

The "best" way is to add (make avaible) 1 single language from/for each continent.

Canada, US,UK & EU: English
Asia: Thai/Malay or Austronesian?
Africa: Afroasiatic or French
Middle east: Arabic
Latin America: Spanish or Portuguese,

On my server there are a lot of European/Russian/Romanian/Turk/Arab and Thai players. Havent seen any US, English or Latinamericans so far.
