About LinkBackson real games if you get a yellow card on the league in wont apply on the CL. same for the cup etc. but on here any card applies on all tournaments, Why is that?

No it doesn't apply on all tournaments !! League cards are for league only, Same thing on cup and CL

The cards are indeed for each type of competition, so if you have a guy with a red in CL he can still play in League, etc. If a guy has cards in more than one competition it shows the one related to the next match.

the thing that is different is that the cards only reset at the end of the season, so you can have a player get a yellow card game 1 of the league, and then go the next 20 league games with no cards, but then in game 22 of the league he gets a yellow he will be suspended for game 23
