    Then they can allow for the block option where u can block specific managers from messaging you. Or make ur chat private where only your ingame friends can message you

    Exactly my idea. It should regulate itself.

    I would have liked to congratulate our league winner of last season on a great (unbeaten) season, but unfortunately in-game I have no way of doing that.

    What about just a "cheer!" button on each manager , player, and match page.

    So nobody can say something negative, but if you want to say good game, or great player, or congrats on winning treble, you can send that sort of positive message with a generic "cheer". Adds a small dimension to game friends and competition dynamics.
