Thank you for the suggestion! I bet there are other Managers, who just like you, miss this feature.
I will be forwarding it to the devs.
Also, why would you prefer the old feature rather than the new one? In what ways do you think it will benefit the game experience for you and the other Managers?
I find the new training to be just fine. Nobody understands it, or the skills, well enough to suggest that a change will improve anything.
Personally, I also don't want to take the time to assign skills after doing generic "light stretching/ heavy workout" assigning drills is much more satisfying and a better fit with real life. Drills and white/grey skills add a layer of faux-complexity, in a good way; we get the impression of more control, and ambitions for improving drills in a self determined order, while not having any clear evidence ever "messing up" a character, or the drill advancer order.
If anything, more drills, more differentiation between levels and the "paths" we can choose
