Nick, all teams should be at the same level... Quality should drop 20% for every team... And there should be 3-4 league tiers within the level, so the best teams should play in top tier, while bots and abandoned teams at the bottom tier... There should be promotion and relegation... If you are good enough to get promotions, you will, at the end reach top tier and if you abandon your team, it will relegate to the bottom tier after few seasons...
