I used to have a problem with 4-4-2 & I have a similar tactic to you except 3N at back, I tried changing my DMC to AMC & bingo results started flooding in. My thinking was that I was never using the DMC because the 4-4-2 does not have a counter, so by using the AMC the reverse happens you become more Attacking & still with no counter giving you more opportunities. Maybe you have already worked out a solution?

Well I did this with my lv three team, ment. normal, mix pass, own half, NO counter or trap. and I only did blue arrows on wingbacks



so thats where I'll start my next vs' 4 4 2

It could just be that 4-4-2 doesn't like AMC, hope it works out for you.
