Champions League Update

So the second leg was a guessing game regarding which formation to use he decided on 3N-1-4-1-1. I opted for 4-5-1V.



The match ended in a hard fought 1-1 draw but went through to the next round on away goals a3-3

Champions League Quarter Final

As expected this was a very tough match in both legs.

Match 1: His main striker was banned for this match so his usual WD had to accommodate 2 AMC. An even game which we took the lead 12' giving us a vital away goal, but soon after 16' it was 1-1. Then the unthinkable happened, I was setting my self up for a draw to take home with the away goal advantage & 89' conceded a double corner to lose 2-1.

So the next match would be a must win game without conceding any away goals.

Match 2: The formations changed slightly, I had to ensurer that we dominated the midfield & he got his striker back to give him his usual formation. We got the possession we needed 60-40, but the goal just wouldn't come so mid way into the second half I changed to 4-5-1V attacking with a change of ST & brought on a DMC. Still nothing so I was accepting defeat when 89' a bad tackle on my striker meant a sending off & more important a penalty. No mistake & a deserved 1-0 victory & through to the Semi Finals on away goals. I think it was a balance of double corner in the first leg & penalty in the second leg, but overall a very even game & pleased to be still in the competition.

Simancas & Jackky FC play today & I will play them both in my next fixtures, so I have an interesting few days ahead of me.

League Champions

After a convincing 4-0 win over our close rivals we can now confirm that the League title is ours



We can now concentrate on the Champions League already taking a 3-1 home victory to Brazil for the return leg of the semi final.

We can now concentrate on the Champions League already taking a 3-1 home victory to Brazil for the return leg of the semi final.

Well we got the Victory we wanted but under very strange circumstances!

He started as usual with 3N-5-2Flat & I started with 4-4-2 but blue arrows on both CM & both DC as He would be coming at me through the middle. The game starts & I am the only person watching so a bonus, then 8' my MC puts in a bad tackle & gets a yellow card, he is now down to 10 men & no sign of a sub so auto sub not set up another bonus. 13' another injury, I think he just fell over because nothing was mentioned in the comments, but more importantly he is down to 9 men another bonus. 35' later the score is still 0-0 & he is playing like he has 11 men on the pitch , but a draw is enough for me so no change. Now here is the funny part. 39' The other guy decides to watch the game, sees he has 2 injured so brings on 2 subs, then bang bang 2 quick goals 41' & 43' yes that's right for me . He must have been swearing & cursing at this point, so to rub salt into the wound I get a 3rd.



So an aggregate win 6-1 & through to the final for the 4th time.
