Overview
Lepoard Stars is a team originally from DR Congo.
It was founded on Oct 10 by LK/Jll02 (His initials), and currently plays in League Level 3.
It's aim is to promote football in Africa, as well as help young African players develop. The Lepoard is the National animal of
Congo DR, (well, now it's the okapi). The club has won 2 league titles, as well as quarter final appearances in the Cup and 3rd place in the Champions League.
History
Season 1:The disappointment
Lepoard Stars were lucky to be allowed into the League mid-season, as a team had pulled out due to financial troubles.
Teams wondered what this "star" team could do.
League leaders Red Bull FC had almost sealed the title with 6 games to go, and needed to beat
Lepoard Stars FC to ensure that. Two early goals in the match made them confident, only for Blaise to score twice to level the score at full time.
The "Lepoards" were now 3rd. Could the they hold that? 3 straight loses denied that and after drawing with 4th place Rio Preto in the final match,They were locked outside the promotion zone in 10th, 2 points from promotion. The board had remarkedc that LK did well for his first season, and
shouldnt be too disappointed. With this comfort, Lepoard Stars knew they could do it next season.

Season 2
We had a bad start, losing our first two games and at the bottom of the table.
We came back and won the league with 3 games to go. We reached the second round of the cup

Season 3 Level 2
Lost our first three games. We then clawed back to 1st place and sealed the title from Harry Law FC with 2 games to go. We also reached the Semi Finals of the CL and suffered a 7-2 deafeat on aggregate. We also suffered our worst lose to date, losing 4-0 in the Cup Quarter Finals.

Season 4 Level 3
We hung around in the Top 3, before being moved up to 2nd. We then drew with Ale BFC, a team who we never beat, and then lost to our ally, ITAConnection. We finished ahead of the bot robots in 3rd.
We had difficulties passing the R16 in the CL after losing 3-0 to a Japanese team away. We then beat them 5-0 at home. They deserved to be in the Semis. We then got unluckily drewn with Ud.Chile, who went on to beat us 7-4 on aggregate. They walked over the other team, Kristina, in the finals.
We went out of the CUP in the R16.

GK: Matondo,local 24 year old who is part of the original squad. 4* player who has
Been the top goalkeeper and captain for the past few seasons.
GK: Jean Paul. Local Youth academygraduate who is currently 4*.
Def:Markov. DL/DC 28 year old Russian who was bought in Season 2 and has been a regular first teamer.

Def: Amantegi. 28 year old 1* Spanish player bought in Season 2. Proved himself to be king of defence at times.
DR: Park. Very good South Korean 4* player who was bought in Season 4.
Def:Empoke. 4* 26 year old DR who has been a great help in defence. Original local
Mid: Del Vecchio.4* 28 year old Italian who was bought in Season 3. Was very incosistent at times.
Mid: Sergi. 2* Argetinian who had poor performances in Season 1. Picked up his game and now is a regular.
Mid: Cieciura. Amazing Polish 21 year old who almost won the Season 4 Young Player of the Year
Mid: Dikete. Developing 21 year old who is a local and is a original. Now starting to get poor performances.
AMC: Janik: Developing 2* Polish 20 year old who was bought in Season 3. Pipped
Sergi and Dikete to grab Young Player of the Year.
AMR: Scotte. 5* 31 year old Frenchman who was bought this season until I can find another AMR. Just scored 2 goals on his debut.
ST: Blaise. 3* star 23 year old striker who has been with the team ever since it started. Local who has scored
Over 60 goals for the club. Season 3 and 4 Player of the Year.
ST: Nonnweiler. The 2* German Gladiator is 28 years old, and was bought in Season 1. He is a good consistent striker.
ST: Guntuz. He is a 5* Turkish 25 year old. Very good Striker

League Round 2Lepoard Stars FC(1ST) VS Inter (7th)Lepoard Stars knew inter were going to down with a fight, but were confident of winning.Shot after shot came at the Inter defence, until there was breakthrough through Gunduz on the 26th minute.Blaise followed 30 minutes later with a spetacular bicycle kick. Shala of Inter scored what seemed to be an offside. LeapoardStars manager LK/Jll02 argued with the ref, only to get yellowcarded and forced to sit in the stands (I disconnected).Markov got LK back to his feet by scoring a header from a cross by Guntuz. Blaise soloed through the field to*"claw" one in. Now this is where the craziness begins. Guntuz was escorted off after a Inter player smashed into his leg. The playerwas given a yellow card. Blaise scored home the penalty that followed to earn himself a hat-trick.5 minutes later, bad form Dikete was strechered off while German Gladiator Nonnweiler came on to replace Guntuz. Defender Guerin Lokonga*was then escorted off the pitch too after colliding with the post. Hellmund and Amantegi each replaced the players. Inter scored a last minute cornerto make the score 5-2. Updates on the injuries are on the Teams homepage at*www.topelevenforums/teamshowcase/LepoardStars FC.comThis wonderful result puts the Lepoards on top, but are now second on by 1 Goal after Vostok1 FC won their*respective game 5-0.
Injury Update:
Guerin Lokanga and MC Dikete are both out for 5 days while doctors say that
Guntuz's 3 day injury can be healed within hours. (Has already been healed with red packs
)

Cup Round 2 Leg 1 Result
Lepoard Stars FC VS MBK
The match was tough one from the start with both teams amucalating*11 fouls each. MBKL got a yellow card in the 10th minute. 8 minutes later, their player Germaingot a yellow card too, only to 5 minutes later score. 2 minutes before halftime,*Hellmund was strechered off and Germain was sent along with him after getting a 2nd yellow card.Despite being 10 men down, MBKL fought off the scratches and shots of the Lepoards.In the 80th minute, Guntuz ripped through the defence before passing it to Blaise who slotted it home cooly.Janik was taken off because of a twisted ankle, being the 7th injury this season. Guntuz made up for that,in the 89th minute after a timely lob by Blaise to make it 2-1 Note: Since I wasnt watching I couldnt sub the injured players, making us play 1 and then later 2 men down

Star FC VS Lepoard Star FC
"Call it what you want. A derby. A hard match we needed to win."
Star FC were always threatening from the beginning. Shot after shot camewith a few shotz from the Lepoards. A top shot from Guntuz made it 0-1. And there it stayed for the rest of the half.An announcment came over the speaker that league leaders (by goal diff) ITAConnections had been scored agaisnt to make it 2-1 at their stadium.Star FC were very close to scoring twice but the shots were saved by a very confident Semedo.Nonnweiler was replaced by Blaise to bring more strikeforce.In the 80th minute, Blaise curled it past two defenders, a goalie and a goaline. 2-0.*Star FC pressure rubbed onto the Lepoards when their striker headed in a goal just before the referee blew his whistle.

Vostok 1 have 9 points with a GD advantage over us.ITAConnection are third after their striker equaliased to make it 2-2

Bedi Tribute:
ML Original local player Bedi has been sold to Axel FC For a fee of 24K(dont ask).
Bedi was a vital part of the left flow of play in Season 2. He would alternatate with
Hellmund betwern matches. Towards the end of his Career, Bedi got injuref in Season 3 and was left out for the whole season.
At the beginning of this Season he was put on the transfer list and bought.

Portugese development GK Semedo has been sold to Gu FC for 127K..
Jll02 has wished Semedo luck on his future career. The Lepoards are now looking for another goalie.

[B]Young Player of the Season/B]
There have been many amazing talents, but two stood out.
This year's YPOTS goes too:
Pawel Janik.
The Polish AMC/AML 20 year old played amazingly well, taking 16 goals and 3 MOTM.

Runner up:
Lukazk Cieciura. The Polish 22 year old MC was on top form and helped the team alot, and took 11 goals and 1 MOTM.

Top Scorer
Blaise blew away the competetion, taking 39 goals with a game to go.
Second place goes to both AMR Scotte and ST Guntuz, both with 19 goals.

Player of the Year
Well. Im sure you can guess it.
Blaise.
The 22 year old Congo DR ST was simply unstoppable, taking a club record 39 goals AND taking 14 assists.
Blaise has truly made himself a legend and a 3 time POTS winner.
