FC Bristbury confirm their trophy!
Yesterday FC Bristbury beat 10th placed Arya FC 3-0 away and in doing so confirmed the title as ours with 4 games to spare! The fans have been remarkably upbeat this season despite an early exit in the Cup and only a Round of 16 finish in the Champions League on the back of 2 back-to-back wins of the double! However, that may change next season, if results in the Cup are not improved!

Best time to start a referral team?
Hi all, there hasn't been much to report the last couple of days - we drew our match yesterday, and won the rest. What I want to ask is whether Sunday, is the best time to start a referral team. I mean the first day of the season seems yto make sense as the best day to start one, right?

The only difficulty I can see is the potential difference between when you start it and when the first match is. But fwiw I'd go for Day 1 because on balance the ageing factor/retirals might be more important.

Final League Table
The FC Bristbury Fan Club (a.k.a. The Bristly Hedgehogs) are upbeat about this season's results, and do not seem to mind that the team went out of the Champion's League at the Round of 16. Such a convincing win in the League may be partly to do with that, so here's the final League table:
On another note, they are sad to say goodbye to Michalis Labrou who has been at the club for just under 2 seasons. He is retiring after a club record of 74 goals in 92 appearances (we have only played 4 seasons!). Unfortunately, the manager has been warned that some of the players might not be fit for duty tomorrow in the Cup match due to excessive celebration of his career with the club, with the fans! Here are his statistics as we say goodbye to a player who has played a big part in at least half of our trophies:

Finally thought it was time to wheel this out...
I haven't posted stats so far, because there wasn't much to show. But with four seasons under our belt I decided it was time to show of our impressive stats (so long as you don't look at the Cup stats!):
I have also added them to the original post, and will keep them updated there.
