    Trollollollo

Don't have a picture of me crying - you'll just need to imagine it.

Now. Move on. Nothing to see here.

    Celtic Rangers: Injuries

OK, I admit Midas McGonnigal is supposed to have the magic Touch but even he can't deal with this.

My little team got the injured list down to 2. Only 5 days left (I think). Time for a party - no, time for 3 more injuries today. 12 fit players - 6 of them DCs and 2 others GKs.

Gonna have to just bid on 3 players overnight and hope I get one.....and hope too I don't get all 3.

Yes, although I don't really want to spend much time doing so on a 2nd team. But as my 3 token risk failed and I got no players I decided just to use packs on the least injured striker.

I'll just go 5-3N-2 - if I manage to get another MC then good, if not I'll just need to field an OOP.

    Celtic Rangers

    Lololololol

Bought an MC and, as previously indicated, healed a striker. So at leat I could field a formation with players in the correct positions.

Lost 1-0 in CL but more importantly got another injured MC so back up to 6 injured and 3 of those are MCs. So.....need another player for league match or will have to go with MR MC MC in midfield. >.<

No match reports as I keep missing some matches and others were a bit boring and offered no inspiration.

But, since we got trolled in CL 0-1 we have lost in the Cup 2nd leg 0-3 to go out (mot a shock), and won 1-0, 4-1 & 2-0 in the league, CL and league respectively.

    Current tables are:

I kinda want to create a second team as well... Though I have already dedicated way too much time to this game, lol. Any advice on that?

Also, good luck with the remainder of your season! My team isn't doing so well

Wondering if I took the time to type out that fancy formation? Nah, check out my python script!

    Thanks Cody.

I only created a second team to find out what the referral process was like. Then they started winning or having interesting results and I started to take an interest. Sometimes I attend my 2nd teams games rather than my main because they're less predictable.

So first thing u need to decide is do you want a referral team (which will be on the same server) or one on a different server.....
if you want a referral team just remember to make a fb account and add it as a fb friend to your main one. Then invite it from main team in game. Only then do you start the app on fb acct.

Not sure what advice I can give but here's how I approach my second team:

My second team just survive on the 35T from sponsors.
I don't really deliberately develop the team - most of my transfers have been because of injuries but ofc if I have to buy I try to buy decent players - never the best players.
I don't want my second team to develop enough to get the testosterone flowing or they'll take to much managing
I don't even think of counter-formations I just set up the team in a formation I think will get the best out of the players available and maybe tweak things if other side look overly defensive or offensive.
I don't get disappointed if they lose because they are not far ahead of the opposition so anything is possible.
I do feel a bit more attached to the players somehow since they stay in the team for quite a while.
So far they've not had really hard Cup Draws so its nice to have that extra interest.
Since its a referral team I can check on it through my main team's Friends list and just pop onto it when something needs done *edit* and I can watch the game without switching.
Its actually quite nice to have a side you can experiment with without the fear of throwing away points.
With a second team I can make sure I get the 1 gift I really want for my main.
If there's trolling to be done then its my second team that does it rather than being on the receiving end.

And the big difference from my main team is on my main if I buy a new player then I see 3 or 4 friends buy one too next day (and vice versa) to try to keep up with each other. On the second team friends are just for gifts.

One of the downsides is they play against more abandoned teams than my main atm and I think that might continue even going up the levels because they'll stay around 3*.

If there's anything specific you want to know then just ask here or by Pm or whatever. I'm not that experienced tho but always happy to try to help

And good luck to you too. Sometimes things just go into a slump then pick up again.

    Fixture Catch up

Buffs FC last home league game against San Jose went largely unreported, The game was characterised by a dominant Buffs defence with very little threat offered against them. The Buffs had however performed badly in the final third - no one took responsibilty, no one showed composure and only Denis Law recorded a single goal (to go with his sackful of misses). The only other event of note was the injury to Souness. When you dish it out you've got to be prepared to take it.

(I tried to think of a joke involving Jose and Hose B, but it just wasn't working. )

    Breaking News

Buffs fire in 7 in an early CL encounter. It was a fine passing display from the Buffs as usual but with a bit more pep up front. Goals came from all areas - Johnstone (AMR) & McLeish (DC) getting 2 each, with singles from Hansen (DC), Denis Law (ST) and McStay (MC).

However, performance of the day goes to Assistant Coach Otto Teem! When Mackay was injured in the 36th minute, Otto had him relaced with Bobby Moncur in just 2 mins.

    Ticket Prices

The club has been tinkering a bit more with Ticket Prices lately. Currently league price is @ 7 (level 3) and still 6000 squeezed in. If the next one is the same it'll go up another notch. Stadium remains full for CL ties (@ 8).

    A win is a win

Buffs are back on league business with a trip to Rio to face Ricko FC.

Buffs Mad, as ever, prepares meticulously for the trip. In an effort to get bring out more finesse in Buffs play and improve balance and coordination he calls in specialist trainers pre-match.

Buffs started brightly with several early chances. The breakthrough came on the 27th minute mark with Souness bursting from midfield to rifle a shot low into the corner - 1-0. Come half-time Buffs Mad decided to remove Souness from the action. Souness had only recently recovered from a niggling injury and so the fresher Darren Fletcher was given so match time. On 60 minutes it was Fletcher that was caught late on the edge of the box to the right. McLeish floated in the free-kick and Johnstone headed home. Law was struggling in front of goal again and was replaced by Michael Mols - he just failed late on when a driven shot clipped the bar and the home keeper made a wonder save in the 89th tipping it over. Bremner headed just wide from the corner in what proved to be the last of the action.

A win is always nice but Buffs could do with boosting their goal difference as the league leaders continue their 100% run. When asked about striker performances Buffs Mad said "The Barn Door training had an effect albeit a short-lived one. Perhaps later we'll pull out the banjos and see if with a bit of practice we can give those coos a good spanking - and hope it rubs off on the field."
