Panatha FC Update 6/3/13

We did it !!!

Panatha just won the championship by securing the first place in the league. However 3 more matches need to be played for precious cup to be handed over to our captain A Del Piero. Last game will be in our home and while preparing for the festivities, our fans are geting nuts for the small magic paper which will allow them to watch their team and celebrate with them.

Lets check our league table:




On another note, we made it to the Champions league final on the second and more important match tonight.
First leg we lost 2-1 while in 4-5-1 V formation. We were facing a formation of 3dc - 2mc - 3aml/c/r - 2st and we had to adopt and counter that.
Team started with 3 dc - 3 dml/c/r - 1 mc - 2 aml/r - 1 st.



So with match underway at 23' my dml concedes into a hard tackling and referee shows the penalty spot. I was surprised to see my team losing 0-1 but then the tide turned!
Opponent coach decided to replace his amc with dmc and secure his defence. Such a bad move with more than 60' mins left to be played. I swiftly replaced my dmc for a second mc and destroyed that manager and his tactic.






I started this game with normal mentality, normal passing and counter attacks. At 23' I switched to attacking mentality without counter attacks, rest in normal mode.
I also played with win max bonus 800k and lowered my tickets price a bit to achieve full attendance.

Panatha FC Update 8/3/13

Its the CL final match today:

Harder opponent playing 4-4-2 with 3 world class and 3 scout players. I conceal my 4-5-1V into 4-1-4-1 formation and checking on him to see if he saw me 4-5-1V but he plays 4-4-2 whole season. He wont change it for me.

With 6 mins left to kick off, my 2 wingers advance from ml/mr to aml/amr. I press save formation. 5 mins left!
Kick off! Game is balanced while I play with normal mentality and counter attacks on. Rival manager is not here!!!
End of first half and everything remains balanced between both teams but a lil possession on his side.
Time to dance! I pick attacking mentality and remove counter attack for second half.
Shots on target start to rise on my side, we are now at 75' min and still its 0-0 .....I have taken such a risk by playing with attacking mentality vs a better quality team, soccer gods might punish me..... I replace Kaka for Khedira in mc position, mainly to refresh my middle a little.
Panatha decides to dominate remaining time, attack after attack but not even a small chance. I call my gk Buffon as he is my penalty stopper man and tell him to warm up. Extra time is about to start...
But then its Messie's time to say a word, he is crossing the right byline while I am crossing my fingers tight!
Opponent's defenders in panic, three out of 4 rush onto my crazy dribbler man, Messie passes the ball short to the left side, Roben is free like the wind over there, he shoots ..... & HE SCORES!!!!

Goal for Panatha at 86' what a finale for a CL Final and that guy never showed up!!!!!!!!

Mr Ro was a bad move that turned into gold. Bought him as a scout on the very last day of previous season.
I also had doubts about geting a striker without one on one ability. No more doubts however, free kick specialist suits a good shooter perfect!
