Power training took place over the first two days of the season and took in over 1000 green packs, as Foster's 30 year age has meant his training speed is now really slow. He has however now managed to get right up to ten star again.
Annoyingly Foster then got injured in the 4th minute of the first league game of the season, so he had to sit the rest of the game out and be healed straight after, but even with that happening to him its not been a bad start to the season for him.
Foster also managed to set another landmark today, appearing in his 100th Cup game for Halifax. An amazing stat considering the fact that we are continually put in higher level cups.
Up to 790 goals and 289 assists now from 559 games.

Its been a very good start to the season for Foster, so much so that after todays games he has now hit 800 Halifax goals.
Not bad overall stats for him now with the next target in sight being 300 assists.

33 goals for the season so far for Foster is a very decent return, however today sees us exit the Cup after being paired with a much better team.
Foster is also now only 3 assists off hitting 300 for Halifax. Lets hope he can break that barrier at some point in the next week or so.

Foster passes the 50 goals mark for the season today, hitting his 51st in all competitions. Made even more impressive due to the fact that we had an early exit from the cup this season.
Since last updating, 2 assists in the League and 2 assists in the Champions League has also seen Foster pass 300 assists for the club, now sitting on 301.
At 30 year old, Foster doesn't have many seasons left now, 4 full ones after this one before he will hang up his boots. It will be interesting to see how far Foster can push the Halifax records between now and then. As of tonight he sits on 830 goals for the club - so it would be nice to see Foster break the 1000 goal barrier.

The season is over and yet again Foster is a key player as Halifax win the league and the Champions League. Two injurys and a suspension hit him in the closing stages of the season, but even with that happening - and an early cup exit - Foster still managed to return 64 goals and 25 assists this season.
That means that as the season ends Foster has an incredible 843 goals and 312 assists for the club.
Next season will also see Foster hit the 600 games played figure too, with him currently three games off that on 597.
The idea is to power train him as normal over the first 2/3 days of the season, but with Foster going to be 31 and the new awkward system where its hard to tell if a player is right at the top of the star rating, it may be decided to get him close to ten star, but not as close to normal. Time will tell on what decision is made.

Two days into the season and we are calling it a day for Fosters power training for the season. Very close to the 10 star again, but due to slower training speeds and advancing age its decided to let him naturally hit the 10 in the next few weeks through games.
Three goals in the Cup has helped Halifax through to the next round, although they have much harder teams in the next few rounds so it will be expected we will depart the Cup soon.
One milestone does look to be falling tomorrow - as Foster is now on 599 games for Halifax, so the early Champions League game in the morning should see his 600th appearance for the club.

A solid, yet unspectacular start to the season has seen Foster net 13 times from the opening 12 games, with 10 assists to add to that.
The Cup draw is horrendous so the next round starting tomorrow should be our last.
Over 850 goals now for Foster for the club. Aged 31, so only a few more seasons to go until he retires, but his overall stats for the club are pretty good so far.

Congratulations to Foster, who today hit his 500th league goal for Halifax.
24 goals for the season now, which whilst not terrible isn't as many as he normally hits. Out of the cup after playing 3 teams in higher leagues and 1 yellow away from facing a suspension in the Champions League.
867 goals for Halifax now, with 331 assists from 620 appearances.

The season is over and its another League and Champions League Double for Halifax.
With 45 goals to his name at the end of the season it marks Foster's worst end of season tally for Halifax. This is probably also down to the lack of time and effort invested in the team this season as the game has become more of a chore than fun.
As things stand Foster is on 888 goals for Halifax, with 339 assists from 639 appearances.
Foster will turn 32 tomorrow, so will be in the last period of his time at the club before retirement. The decision has been made to not do the usual of power training him up to ten star tomorrow for the reasons of it not being worthwhile, plus a lack of interest to invest time into pushing him that far. If time permits Foster may be pushed a little with training, but its time to wind down on his abilities over the next couple of seasons until he retires.
