Day 21
Another dominant performace by Holmesdale FC today, breaking their match scoring record which was just 24 hours old. The strikers got the majority of the goals, Terje Varhaugvik being the first Holmesdale player to get four goals in a match, and also adding a hat-trick of assists; Stewart Black got his second successive MoM on the back of his hat-trick and two assists. Midfielder Daley Forrester suffered a 49th minute injury, and will be out for 6 days.
The Management was notified of another achievement on completion of the match, the team now having scored more than 100 goals in their first season.

Day 23
Training
Morning General training advanced the training level to 17, unlocking the Attack drill Slalom Dribble (Hard).
Today's match
Away in the League to 8th place, the hosts put up a brave fight before succumbing to a 77th minute goal be right-winger Laurens Bloemen.
Stadium
The Small Infirmary completed construction, and the Management now had to find 6 days of construction to wait out the completion of Holmesdale FC's first Youth graduates. So the small Seating upgrade (2 days and $190k, down from 5 days/$240k) was started.

Day 24
The new AM Daily Recommendation started today and the first player offered was of a good standard and a reasonable price, but the comparison player in the squad wasn't a match to the player from the day's opponents (the AMR will be faced by the DL, not the DC).
As it happened, the Holmesdale player that the AM had such a downer on played very well in the League match, scoring once in a performance which equalled at home the record away score from 3 days ago. Strikers Terje Varhagvik and Stewart Black each bagged braces and six other players scored one each as the team recorded a 10-0 win.

Day 25
Normal Weekly Recommended Players this morning, and the Management noted, but was not tempted...
League action saw the team play away at 4th place, the win and results elsewhere conspired to ensure that Holmesdale FC claim their first piece of silverware in the form of the League Championship.

Day 26
No Recommended Player, Daily or otherwise today.
Training
Morning Training advanced the Training to Level 18, and the Management chose from the upgrade choices given, to upgrade the Defence drill Piggy-in-the-Middle (Easy) to Semi-Pro (2 whistle) level.
The League match of the day was a shock to the previously dominant Holmesdale squad. Against a -25%Q team, the Troll visited and ensured the home side prevailed.

Day 27
The Daily Recommended Players resumed today, and a tempting offering, if the end of the season (and loss of a Star and 20% Quality) wasn't 2 days away...
Stadium
The Small Seating upgrade completed and the Digital Scoreboard upgrade started. This will take 2 days to complete and costs $14k (was 3 days and $20k).
The penultimate League match of the season was the last home match of the season, and Holmesdale were held to a draw by the 9th place team in the table.
Training
Evening Targetted Training lifted the Training Level again, to Level 19. With two drill upgrades and a new drill to choose from, the Management chose the unlock and the Defence drill Defending Crosses (Medium) is now available for use.

Day 28
Obviously a bug, as didn't get a Daily Recommendation today.
Stadium
The Digital Scoreboard construction completed this morning, and as the Youth facility was to produce its first Graduates tomorrow, it would then be ripe for upgrade, so the Management decided to shelve any further upgrades until then.
The final match of the season completed the League programme, and Holmesdale FC had a convincing win over 7th place, but fell one goal short of registering 100 League goals for the season.

Day 1
The Management rose bright and early to prepare his team for the new season.
Having brought forward all the players in the squad from the last season, he then set about clearing out the unwanted low-Quality players. As a result, goalkeeper Danny Connor, defenders Trevor Obita and Grant Archer, and striker Danny Smith have left the club.
Youth players
The Youth facility has produced its first Graduates (above), and the Management signed both of them, only to immediately sell the lower Quality one to realise some extra cash.
Midfielder Paul Clarkson was power-trained to add a free-kick SA, AMC extra position and pushed up to 5* Quality, spending 144 Green packs in the process.
Training
With all the power training going on, the team's Training Level went through 20 to 21 and the Defence drill Goalkeeper Training and Attack drill Skill Drill were both upgraded to Semi-Pro (2 whistle) level.
Stadium
With the Youth facility about to start on another set of recriuts, the Management took the opportunity to delay this and upgrade the Youth setup, the Mini Camp will take 3 days to construct and costs $54k (down from $80k).
Transfer Market
The Management had a quick look in the Transfer Market and saw a Goalkeeper with no bids on and 15 seconds left in the Auction. One 1T bid later, and Holmesdale FC have a new custodian...
A few minutes later, a central defender similarly got no interest from other quarters and was again the subject of a 1T purchase.
With the Quality of the opposition to be faced in the later Cup match, Paul Clarkson and Ximun Poteau have been included in the starting XI and the Management have kept faith with last season's ever-present 'keeper by putting Vetle Vik on the bench.
More later...
