HEADLINE: Balkan Boyz pull off sensational transfer deal after a bidding war

    ____________________***______________________

Balkan Boyz completed a £21million signing of the Bosnian national team defender Ognjen Vranješ this afternoon. The 18-year-old defender is expected to take a place in the first squad and therefore replace Branislav Ivanović. O.Vranješ made his first debut today against Robelix FC in the CUP qualification. According to Manager -Ljepoje-, O.Vranješ is expected to develop as a DR as well by tomorrow and hit quality 45 by Sunday, and a quality of 50 by Monday. This means that Ognjen Vranješ and Stevan Jovetić will become "Superstars" and prehaps the best valued players in the Clubs history.

    Balkan Boyz - Matchday 8 (Sz.4 - lvl4)

HEADLINE: Balkan Boyz eye historic win against FC SoZe in T11 CUP: "We wrote history for our team", says manager Ljepoje

    Balkan Boyz (Q40,7) Formation: 4-1-2N-1-2 (4-4-2 diamond) >> 2 - 0 << FC SoZe (Q38,5) Formation: 4-2N-2W-2

The Balkan Boyz´s with manager -Ljepoje- at the helm took a historic win in the CUP-Playoffs against the French opposition FC SoZe.The Balkan Boyz started the game quite offensive and the strikers, Edin Džeko and Stevan Jovetić had a couple of dangerous opportunities to score in the first quarter, but the strong French defense kept repelling and stood firm. At the end of the 1th half, Ivica Olić had a shoot on target but their GK Paolo Mason rejected the shoot.

In the second half, Manager -Ljepoje- made a quick tactical switch by replacing Ivica Olić with Hasan Salihamidžić, playing in a AMC position. And what seemed to be just a "switch", become a "ice-breaker" and changed the game completely! In the 72min, Hasan Salihamidžić outrunned their defense, and curled the ball behind GK Paolo Mason and praised The Balkan Boyz with a goal, 1 - 0 was a fact! Ten minutes later Stevan Jovetić managed to extend the lead into 2 - 0 after a fantastic foreplay by Edin Džeko. The French manager -Keyser Soze- made three desperate changes the last quarter, but nothing seemed to go pass the strong Balkan Boyz defence! Nemanja Vidić, Nenad Tomović, Sead Hajrović and Ognjen Vranješ did a splendid job and keept out sheet spotless! The Balkan Boyz´s GK, Asmir Begović made two good saves during the 2nd half due a FK and a Corner. Also, Mateo Kovačić managed to clear the ball into a throw in the last ten minutes of the 2nd half. The Balkan Boyz play-maker Safet Sušić didn´t take part in tonight´s game, since the given red card in their last game against the Dutch opposition -FC Robelix-.

The Manager -Ljepoje- reflected on Balkan Boyz fifth victory in the T11 CUP play this season and said that his players should be inspired by the defeat of the French opposition -FC SoZe- and use it as the springboard to get further into the tournament.

"We wrote history for our team," Ljepoje said after a dramatic 2-0 win against -Keyser Soze´s - team. "This is a very special night for us and it must serve as an example for what we want to achieve in the future. At the end, it is just an important 1th leg win, and we have to play the 2nd leg as well. But hopefully tonights win will serve as an inspiration for the future, as in the CUP, as in the CL and League as well."

    Scorers: H.Salihamidžić (72min), S.Jovetić (81min.ass:E.Džeko).
    Subs: I. Olić <> H.Salihamidžić

    Hi, Peter!

Yeah, we pulled it off with a home win against the French Team -FC SoZe-. Think this was our best game so far. I was quite nervous before the game because I couldn´t count on my best MC and playmaker, but we got our **** together and pulled it off. I´ve never reached so far in the CUP so I´m still quite shook´d-up. The best part is that since we started playing the 4-4-2 narrow diamond, the team keeps winning and my ST:s are scooring like hell, my AMC (shadow striker) as well

I did some PT this weekend on Jovetić and Vranješ as well. Jovetić will reach Q50 and Vranješ Q45 by tomorrow morning. Pic´s tomorrow!

Anyway, how did you manange in your games? Are you still hanging-on in the CUP and CL qualifiers? Did you improve the player you mentioned earlier? I will get through your showcase and team by tomorrow, maybe give you some tricks&tips.

    Cheers!

Do you still have Dzeko? If you do, try to sell him, get a new ST, train him one on one scorer because your current Dzeko has corner specialist (which he isn't)
    just my suggestion

Ah, yes! I sold the "older" one last season and bought a new one this season. Actually he is a quite good striker/scorer despite the SA (corner.spec). He is current the best assistant in the league and in my team as well. Ivica Olić (SA:shadow striker) at 3rd place.

    Balkan Boyz - Matchday 10 (Sz.4 - lvl4)

HEADLINE: Balkan Boyz marched into the Final eight: “It is another great day for the club” Manager Ljepoje said.

    FC SoZe (Q39) Formation: 4-3-1-2 >> 0 - 5 (Aggregate: 0-7) << Balkan Boyz (Q41,2) Formation: 4-1-2N-1-2 (4-4-2 diamond)

The Balkan Boyz with manager -Ljepoje- at the helm marched into the Final eight after a tremendous win in the 2nd leg against the French opposition -FC SoZe-. As the first meeting ended with a 2-0 win for the Balkan Boyz, they needed just a goal or two and therefore secure further advancement. The Balkan Boyz started the game quite offensive the first quarter and the strikers -Edin Džeko and Stevan Jovetić- had a couple of dangerous opportunities to score, but the strong French defense kept repelling and stood firm. But despite good defending by -FC SoZe-, The Balkan Boyz managed to break through and get a goal before end half. Alen Halilović, Safet Sušić, Mateo Kovačić and Stevan Jovetić extended the lead in the 2nd half by scoring another 4 goals by the end of the game and therefore put an end of the misery for the French.

The Manager -Ljepoje- reflected on Balkan Boyz tremendous victory and said that his players earns all respect and that their fanclub -Teški Jebači FanClub- (Eng:Heavy Fu*kers) should be proud after beating the french opposition with a huge margin. 'There's nothing that our players can't achieve with proper coaching. We need to improve every minute, we need to keep our heads up, believe in ourselves and continue on our way of playing football. Also, this is an another great day for the club as we never doubted the fact that we wanted to win other trophies, besides the league trophy. This was an important game and it will be an even more important games further one in this tournament when we face our next opponent, that is what we are looking forward to now.”

Scorers: Safet Sušić (41min.ass:S.Jovetić) Alen Halilović (54min.ass:N.Vidić), Safet Sušić (56min), Mateo Kovačić (60min:P) and Stevan Jovetić (73min).
    Subs: I. Olić <> A.Ljajić
    MOTM: Safet Sušić (rate:9)

Oh, big up! Looks like the team is coming along quite nicely!
I had a big league win, but injuries have started piling up at last, meaning I'm very short on players at the moment. I invested in 50 green packs in this time, the max I could afford with out putting money into the equation!
Jorgensen is now a completed playmaker in DMC, briefly toyed with the idea of getting him to MC as well but found it to expensive. He went from 39* to 42* at the same time but I've noticed now that he's started to train a lot slower.

Meanwhile I sold 2 players through negotiations so I'm even lower on squad, even with one auction win.
Lost my Cup-rematch 1-2, but scraped through on away goals (4-3 in hand) against a lvl8 so we'll see what's next. I'm slipping down that slippery slope towards the credit card, hehe!

Good to see the training is coming along so well!

This team is now somewhere on the same wavelengths as July Fourth and Perfect Tactics as far as Power Training and overall quality of each player in terms of stars.

Even the likes of New Team and Harrogate Town have undertaken Power Training somewhat and Kashiwa Washi Took it completely to another level by getting an ENTIRE TEAM of 9* players and training many players to a maximum quality cap for a level with is 1 point away from a theorectical 10* rating that doesn't exist.

It seems more forum members here have taken up the art of power training that I demostrated 4 seasons ago in my topic by power training 6 players upto mid-tiered 8* players and 2 players at 9*
