It makes no sense the opponents know the rantings of each other during the matches.

I think it does make sense. Even though you can only manage your team, you can watch the entire game as if you were, in fact, a real manager. You can see the other team's substitutions, injuries, cards etc. So why shouldn't you be able to see its stats as a whole, including player stats?

Just my two cents.

That was the right decision. In a real football match, you see it when an individual player of the opposing team is having a good day or a bad day. There is no logical reason to hide it, as it is a part of in-game decision-making for managers.

It makes sense because when a player flops in a match everybody watching gets to know, even if you are watching from far away Nigeria.
