One of my MC with 4* ended up with a rating of 3 today and cost me the match, Now I'm five points behind first place even though I have the best quality team in the league. Since the season began I have endured his rating of 5,6 and 7 but today after the match I had to sell him.

Agreed...if it turns out to be a long term thing (i.e..a problem) with a player then sell...im thinking of doing that to my "star" striker now...

It could be down to marking yes as the lower level teams are easier to play against and then the players return to a harder opponent and they suffer as a result...the debate will rage on im sure...
