Why why why do I lose to poor teams

Ok so most people may have brought this up but it's ridiculous now
So I am quality of 30.0 and am currently level 2 I am miles ahead of any team in my league the closest to me is 25.5
I am fed up of getting beat by teams of quality 22 23 ect ect they never turn up for the games play with injured players and still I lose its a joke I can understand every team loses from time to time but I've lost 4 games all to poor teams

I do spend a lot of time on the game and am very addicted I do buy tokens and I always play with 85% plus condition on my players

I am starting to think that spending money is the worst thing to do because the clearly makes us lose so we spend more because we think we need better quality

It's got 1 more chance with me if it keeps doing this I will delete the god damn game because it is quite obviously a fix

PS this is coming from a guy who won the league last season and currently I am
3rd in league 4 points behind ( god knows how ) just lost in the semi final of the cup to a level 4 who was quality 24.4 and is players all about dead ( god knows how again ) and I am currently 4-1 up in the first leg of semi final champs league ( no doubt I will lose 4-0 in my home game )

So I am addicted and yer I am upset because its clearly a fix don't bang in about formations because its the game owners that are determined the results formations and tactics clearly mean Nothing

i know what you mean pal. i got kicked from CL in semi against a 5 quality lower team in second leg with 1:4 after i won first leg 3:1. and we both played same tactics. same day i drawed agains a 7 quality lower team(third worst in league) with bot robot as manager... i am nearly 30 quality ;)
theres nothin ou can do about it, nordeus decides with rolling dices. so my suggestion dont spend money. :)

My advice to everyone is not to spend money. This game is not worth it, if they fix the obvious issues then maybe but until then, nope. With that said, when you don't spend money, I find that people handle occasional poor results much easier and let's face it, you are 3rd in the league so you are winning quite a bit of your games..

your team probably does not like playing your current formation. Currently I'm Level 2 too and I have a quality of 24,2. I'm using tokens too, I've earned many of them through surveys. I figured out that my team hates many formations but it prefers 4-5-1V and 3-2-2-2-1 Butterfly.

I've been playing 3-2-2-2-1 Butterfly almost the whole season and also almost the whole last season. On my first league, I finished on first place in league and I only lost like 5 or 6 games. This season I lost two cup games and one league game (today), but I'm still the first place in league and I'm in the semifinals of the champions league.

I recommend you to change the settings of your team. You could try removing arrows if you have some and you could also change the players which shoot freekicks, corners and stuff. Maybe your team likes playing counter-formations, maybe it wants to play offensive formations. Also make sure your players always have a good morale.

As I said, my team clearly loves a offensive 3-2-2-2-1 Butterfly. It's just a matter of time until you find the right setting and formation for your team.

Yes I have realised now I won't spend anymore I not long brought 500 tokens so I have 523 I will just use them over the next few seasons there not getting another penny from me

I do really like the game and I'm addicted I admit but what's the point me spending 2 hours a day organising my team buying young fresh talent to lose to teams that never turn up couldn't give a crap about the game and play with old grannie players

I also would bet that you will do quite well over the next few years. Being active is enough on most servers to challenge for the title in the first 5-6 seasons due to large amount of inactive teams.

Maybe age is a factor? If your players are all youngsters, perhaps they're too inexperienced and aren't playing to their full potential.

Has for tactics and formations I see teams playing with no wide men but yet there always on the attack putting crosses in I don't believe formation matters I used to but not now I was 3-0 up in a cup game playing my normal 4-3-1-2 formation and attacking tactics I though ok I will change at 61 minutes i changed to 4-4-2 and went from attacking to normal guess what the game finished 4-3 ok I won but I almost drew has it went 3-3 which would of put me out the cup but luckily i scored in 89 mins come off it that's not right

A team or player cannot "like" or "love" a formation. These are emotions and are not programmed into the game. butterfly formation has its strengths as well as its weaknesses. it all depends on the formations and quality of your league opponents.

I just disagree with finding a "right" formation for a team. What is normally done is to find a formation and pick the proper players to fill it. I have multi-purpose players that allow me to play any formation. And I dont often lose because I choose the proper formation to play against my opponent. When I do lose, its not usually about formation.

to the OP: 5Q difference is not miles ahead. It is a nice buffer zone of quality, but hardly overpowering. when you get to 10-15Q ahead of the opponents and lose, then you have every reason to hit the VENT THREAD. You have to realize that up to 5Q, it is fairly regular to have a tough game.

My average age is 20.1 so yes they are young team but we are supposed to be keeping these players for the future what's the point in buying 25 year olds that are the same quality has a 18 year old why have a skoda if you can afford a Ferrari

But losing to teams with ten men and injured players and I have 15% bonus that's a joke whether they are only 4-5 quality behind if they don't care about the game take them out at the end of the season my brother has a team yet he's not played it in 3 months yet he gets promoted every season now he's level four lol that's surely not right why not just disable his team he clearly ain't interested and I know he will never play it again

This is the 2nd time I've seen you write about emotions not being written into the game, where is the evidence to support this?

Quite clearly many have directly or indirectly shown that emotions do play a part in the game, within this thread one op talks about being 3-0 up and winning easily and then changing formation he scrapes a 4-3 win, surely that could be seen as his players not liking or being used to playing the new formation.

I strongly believe that players/teams take time to 'learn' and get used to playing a formation and that some players (as I demonstrated in the last thread that you poo poo'd the idea of emotions playing a part in the game) prefer and play better on a certain side on Central roles DC DMC MC AMC ST.

Nothing counts in the game apart from nordeus making money if they determine you are losing the game before kick off when they take over then no matter what you do you losing its a game that is not designed like real life I won a game 14-0 and I've had a few 8-0 9-0 and so have my friends what team ever wins 14-0 what a stupid thing for them to design

Even Spain only won 10-0 against the whipping boys of the confederation cup so don't see how anyone on this game wins 14-0 even 9-0
I played my friend who is level 10 I'm level 2 I did it to see the outcome he beat me 6-0 and he's 64.3 quality I was 26.7 at the time that's a realistic result but there's just no consistency which means it it slightly fixed like it or not the games great but its also a great money making con

Dude, no offense, but when you can show me that Deep Blue high-fived everyone in the room when "IT" beat chess Grandmaster Garry Kasparov, then I will believe that you can have programs with emotions. Until then, I will continue to believe that only the most sophisticated computers can "simulate" emotions. I think it is safe to say that T11 does not rent time on these computers. I think it is also safe to say that T11 does not yet have the sophistication necessary to simulate emotions.

It cannot think on its own, you cannot hurt the games feelings, nor can you hurt the feelings of any player programmed into the game...because they dont have any. They cannot "learn", as you put it. Maybe, just maybe, their relative numbers can increase when played in the same position over a few games and decrease when played out of position, but if this is the case, you have to change your terminology. You have to remember this is all lines of code and numbers in a matrix. the matrix pulls out results based on the numbers that are supplied.

I cant believe I have to even respond to such nonsense in the first place, let alone make up funny **** to make my point.

You mean with the quality difference being almost 40Q, you didnt beat him? That is not RIGHT! You should have won 2-0 with one player sent off with a red card and another injured in the 15th minute and not replaced. Funny how that happens more times than it should...which is NEVER!

When you put everything into you game, **** happens. Intentional handball at the world cup. biting the chelski player. scoring 23 goals. the guy is a beast of a player and worth every penny. I just dont believe he got a fair deal with the Evra thing. That was down to Fergie and his servants in the FA. Terry gets 4 games and Suarez gets 8 for something far less offensive? The fix is in!

I'm 1000% absolutely sure emotions have nothing to do with T11. The game engine decides the result based on the average quality. I bet the morale doesn't matter and i bet the condition doesn't matter either. Why on earth would a dead tired team play better and win bigger in the second of a back to back when i'm not at home to make changes? Because nothing but quality matters. Of course, from time to time the game engine throws some shocking results just to make you think you did something wrong or your team isn't good enough and needs some improvement. It doesn't even matter if you win a 50-50 game 4-0 away in the first leg because there's always a chance to lose 7-2 at home in the return leg. And that happened, i saw it with my own eyes. In reality we don't see such things because morale matters and the losing team from the first match has already resigned. That's why we don't get to see the players' marks during games because even if we see them there's nothing we can change, the game engine has already done its job.

But, whatever way you try to paint it (or call it) the developer has quite obviously added code to the GE that relates to player preferences, it is quite obviously not just a case of 'the role of a dice' which determines the outcome of each match.
Your description of ""maybe the relative numbers can increase/decrease" is another way of putting it, I chose to describe it as 'Learning & Emotions' and it would seem that the developer has coded to replicate it.

Now don't get me wrong here, I'm not trying to blow Nords trumpet, there are many errors within the game, but I choose to focus on the positives rather than keep bashing the negatives (and yes, my friends would describe me as a 'glass half full' person), but you have to give Nord some credit (or the game developer) for coding it in this way.

I have given a number of examples on this forum where I have seen a players performance improve/decline depending on his preference, and of course many have complained about how their teams performance has changed dramatically when they have tried to play a new formation (new for their team), so I think that their is plenty of evidence to support this belief on the numerous threads on the forum, but of course, whether you choose to believe them is obviously your choice, or whether you believe that the GE is rubbish and its all down to the role of a dice is also your choice, I choose the Glass Half Full belief.

I play every game with a different formation for the most part. 6 seasons of changing my formation to counter the opponent and look at the trophies. I must be doing something right. i dont win them all, but I am always at the top. So your idea of getting used to formations is nonsense. Sorry amigo...many others change formations like myself and we win. I just cant believe what you say about getting used to a formation. T11 is not sophisticated enough to do this.

My first teams average age is always under 21...atm it's about 19.5...young players train harder and progress far quicker than the older ones...granted they cost more...

I have three mid 20's scouts and they are the oldest players i field...

Personally i don't think age has anything to do with a teams overall ability and if anything it is a good thing to have a young squad...im second in my league :)...

No, I speak Croatian and that is not it. Nor is Croatia a communist Republic. And Nordues is a Serbian company, which by itself would hardly make it popular in Croatia.
